Belief That John Cena May Be Bigger Than The Rock In Hollywood One Day

John Cena and Dwayne Johnson transitioned into successful careers in Hollywood. The big question remains whether the 16x World Champion can outdo The Great One outside WWE.

The Rock’s breakthrough came with his appearance in The Mummy Returns, while John Cena’s venture into cinema began with The Marine in 2006. Both actors have since starred in major commercial blockbusters, including Johnson’s role as Black Adam in the DC superhero world and Cena’s portrayal of the Peacemaker.

Given their similar career trajectories in both sports and Hollywood, a friendly yet competitive rivalry has emerged between these WWE stars vying for supremacy. Eric Bischoff recently shared his opinion on which star will dominate the film industry.

Eric Bischoff’s verdict on The Rock and John Cena is that they competed with each other, supported by their loyal fan bases. However, when it comes to acting in Hollywood, former wrestling champion and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes that John Cena could have a brighter future, despite Johnson’s earlier start in the industry.

During 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff spoke on how The Rock and John Cena’s careers outside WWE paralleled and created some competition. At this point, Easy E believes that John Cena may be bigger than The Rock one day.

“John you know he may not be at that Rock status yet. I don’t know if he will be or maybe he’ll be bigger than Rock who knows what the future holds. But he’s a hell of an actor. He’s having a tremendous amount of success in the movie industry.”

The Rock and John Cena are still picking up big roles, and they might just act together in the final film of the Fast Franchise. The Great One returned to the Fast & Furious saga in a little scene at the very end of the credits.

Only time will tell if John Cena has a bigger career in Hollywood than The Rock. There might be some competition there, but it’s also evident that they are both doing just fine in their current career paths.
