WWE Superstar Was Fired After Backstage Incident Involving The Usos

WWE Superstars can enjoy a nice run in the company, but not everyone’s time lasts forever. Sometimes a Superstar can be fired for controversial reasons as well.

In WWE’s history, backstage incidents among wrestlers have occasionally spilled out of the ring, leading to significant repercussions. One such incident occurred several years ago and resulted in the surprising release of a popular star who had gained a strong following among fans.

The wrestler in question is Big Cass, now known as Big Bill in AEW. Prior to his departure from the WWE in 2018, Cass enjoyed popularity alongside his tag team partner, Enzo Amore. However, following their breakup, his future in the company seemed uncertain.

It wasn’t a loss of momentum that led to his release but rather an alleged backstage incident. According to reports from Wrestling News, a source revealed that a confrontation involving his ex-girlfriend, Carmella, played a role in Big Cass’s termination.

According to the report, Big Cass had been attempting to reconcile with Carmella and became disruptive in the process. As tensions escalated, Cass even grabbed Carmella’s hand as she was walking away, leading to a volatile situation. Other wrestlers, including The Usos and Erick Rowan, intervened to restrain Big Cass and prevent the situation from escalating further.

Word of the incident eventually reached the higher-ups, and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon personally informed Cass that he had been released from the company. Neither Big Cass nor Carmella has publicly addressed the incident thus far.

Big Cass not ventured back to WWE yet, but you can never say never. He rehabbed himself, and is making a lot of noise as Big Bill in AEW. Only time will tell if he ever makes his way back to Vince McMahon’s company.

Carmella is also living a totally different live right now. She is pregnant with her and Corey Graves’ first child, and that is keeping her out of the ring at this time.
