WWE has a lot of things going on, and the drama increased this week on NXT. Tony D’Angelo has been in “jail” for the past few weeks, but for some reason they settled things in the ring instead of court.

Channing Lorenzo vs Joe Coffey went down this week on NXT. They were battling for Tony D’Angelo’s freedom. If Stacks won, then Tony D goes free.
Joe Coffey was fighting for Tony D’Angelo to go to trial. In the end, they had quite an intense meeting in the squared circle.
In a big change of pace, Tony D’Angelo “called in” during the match from the jail. That jailhouse phone call seemed to give Stacks a bit of extra steam as he continued fighting harder.
In the end, Stacks rallied, and he won the match. Now, Tony D’Angelo is a free man. We will probably see him again very soon.
We’ll have to see how long it takes for Tony D’Angelo to return, and what kind of shape he’s in when that day comes. For more, keep an eye on Ringside News for more.
