Bray Wyatt made his WWE return during Extreme Rules last year and fans were elated at this shocking turn of events, as Wyatt was released by the company the prior year. While Wyatt remains absent from WWE again, it appears The Undertaker wants him to go back to his original character.
Bray Wyatt was engaged in a feud with LA Knight after his return, which fans were initially really excited about. Unfortunately, all of that was wasted after their Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, which was a huge disappointment.
The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt shared the ring for the first time in years during the 30th Anniversary of Monday Night RAW. It led to The Undertaker helping Bray Wyatt take out LA Knight.
Afterwards, The Deadman whispered something in his ears and left. Fans were certainly intrigued by the segment but were glad as this was more or less a passing of the torch moment for Bray Wyatt.
The Deadman has made it clear on numerous occasions that he is a massive fan of Bray Wyatt and always remains interested in whatever he does on WWE television. While speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, The Undertaker talked about Bray Wyatt and stated that he believes Wyatt needs to go back to his original character as the leader of The Wyatt Family.
”They need to back Bray’s character up to the original character, get away from – they’ve kind of got themselves booked into a situation where it’s kind of difficult for him to have matches. I think the original Wyatt Family Bray, that’s the money. I got to work with Bray at ‘Mania the year after I got concussed in the Brock match. I worked with Bray – I think a lot of him, and I like what he’s doing. I think they just have to figure out how to… they need to back it up I think. His promos, and then his ability to work – he’s an incredible, incredible worker but he’s not getting the opportunity to do it. I hope the best for him, I really do think a lot of him. We’ll see what happens there.”
Some also believe that Bray Wyatt should go back to NXT and improve his work. Bray Wyatt’s WWE return is still on paper. Wyatt’s mask molds for The Fiend were also destroyed last year. We will have to wait and see when Wyatt will finally make his WWE return.
