Joey Janela Shuts Down Narrative About Cocaine In GCW Locker Room

Jeff Hardy is working a Game Changer Wrestling event coming up. This garnered a bit of attention from pro wrestling fans, and some had jokes.

One fan tweeted out to say, “They got Jeff Hardy at GCW all while 75% of the roster is doing coke backstage like crackheads, and that ain’t a rumor, it’s fact.”

Joey Janela saw this tweet and he had to fire back in reply. He made it very clear that the GCW locker room is not the drug-filled place a lot of people think it might be.

I can assure you I have never seen one person do cocaine in the locker room at a GCW show. Up until recently we’ve had minors apart of our touring roster, Tweets like this create an echo chamber of false narrative that could be very damaging.

We’ll have to see what’s in Joey Janela and GCW’s future. Jeff Hardy coming to the company, even for just one night, is exciting. It seems that fans also have nothing to worry about when it comes to drugs in that locker room.
