Jey Uso has been on a roll as part of The Bloodline storyline, which began almost three years ago. ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is alive and well now as he is now at the forefront of WWE’s biggest storyline with Roman Reigns. Now it appears some believe that Jey Uso is hotter than MJF right now.
Roman Reigns’ loss at Money In The Bank led to the trial of Roman Reigns for last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table this week, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to match at SummerSlam.
On the other hand, MJF’s current storyline has been a hit with AEW fans as his budding partnership with Adam Cole has proven to be comedy gold in major ways. That said, it isn’t on the same level as The Bloodline.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, former Freddie Prinze Jr. was asked what he believes is the “hottest thing” in wrestling right now. The former WWE writer stated that Jey Uso is the hottest thing over MJF.
“When Max is in the right story, it’s MJF. When Sami was in the right story, it was Sami Zayn. But right now, I would say it’s Jey Uso. That’s what I would say.”
We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’s feud in the coming weeks, as the company has major plans for both of them at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
