Johnny Gargano Still Waiting On Green Light For WWE Return

WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, but some of them will have to wait. It appears that fans of Johnny Gargano will have to be patient at this point.

We previously reported that BWE tweeted out to say that Team DIY is “jinxed” and they won’t see a reunion at SummerSlam. This upset a few fans when they heard the news.

BWE later tweeted out a bit of a spoiler on Twitter, revealing that “Miz finds a solution to Ciampa’s problem.” The upcoming episode will shed light on how this development unfolds.

It was later clarified that this decision was not made by Vince McMahon. Consequently, it appears that Triple H, through a process of elimination, made the call for Team DIY.

When the proven WWE insider was asked about Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa’s situation, they further clarified that Gargano is not cleared to compete. At this time, he is still waiting for the green light from medical to make his in-ring return.

While some fans might not be happy about this, WWE isn’t going to rush Johnny Gargano’s return from injury. They will book him when he’s ready to compete, and that will mean that any plan to reunite his wildly popular tag team will have to wait.
