WWE has a big thing going with the Bloodline, and fans obviously care when Roman Reigns and company are on television. It appears that their segment broke a big barrier into 3 million viewers last week.

As we previously reported, Alfred Konuwa said that the July 7th episode of WWE SmackDown brought in an overnight viewership of 2.375 million, with a .7 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That was their Money in the Bank fallout, and the Bloodline’s segment got over 30 minutes to kick off the broadcast.

Wrestlenomics reported the 1/4 hour numbers for SmackDown last week. Needless to say, SmackDown’s opening segment last week was a real winner.

The reported noted that 2.570 million viewers joined the show at the start. That next 1/4 saw a 19% increase to 3.07 million viewers. This was the peak of the show, with over 3 million fans watching.

The 3rd 15-minute segment of the show’s opening dipped to 2.705 million viewers, but it was still above the average of the show.

We will have to see how the Bloodline storyline turns out, but odds are fans will keep tuning in to see what the company has in store for Roman Reigns and company. You are welcomed to chime in by using the comments below to let us know what you’re thinking.
