The July 21 episode of WWE SmackDown will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1 instead of the usual FOX network.

Ringside News can confirm that the adjustment is due to the coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be airing on FOX during SmackDown’s regular time slot at 8 p.m. ET. Instead, FOX will be broadcasting live game between the United States Women’s National Team and Vietnam at 9 p.m. ET. The FS1 TV schedule has confirmed this move.

As of this writing, it remains uncertain whether this shift is a one-time occurrence or if additional episodes of SmackDown will be affected by the FIFA Women’s World Cup coverage.

This is not the first time SmackDown has aired on FS1 due to scheduling conflicts. On December 2, 2022, the show was moved to FS1 to accommodate FOX’s coverage of an NCAA college football game between USC and Utah. Similarly, on October 28, 2022, SmackDown aired on FS1 because of FOX’s coverage of the MLB World Series.
