Sheamus has accomplished a lot in WWE, winning various championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all when it comes to being a WWE Superstar and the sky is truly the limit for him. That said, it appears Sheamus was advised to change scenery as he has run his course in WWE.

Ever since Triple H took over as head of WWE Creative, a lot of talent have been getting more focus and better booking in general. This has been seen as a big win for WWE under Triple H’s care.

However, not everyone has been getting the same level of focus. After all, Sheamus, alongside his Brawling Brutes brethren haven’t been getting as much attention as of late now. This led to Sheamus criticizing WWE for how they have been booking his group.

While speaking on The Wrestling Outlaw, former WWE writer Vince Russo stated that Sheamus has run his course in WWE and advised the Celtic Warrior to change his scenery.

“Bro, I’ll be honest with you. As a writer, sometimes you get a feeling like a character has run its course. Let’s relate this to professional sports. How many times a player that was once a great player is now in a rut, and the player gets traded because he needs a change of scenery? You hear that all the time. Bro, I’ll be honest with you. I think the guy has run his course. Does he get a change of scenery with AEW or some new organization?Absolutely, 100%. Now he’s got new players on the team; you could book him fresh.

But I just think, to me, he’s in this category. Bro, these guys have run their course. There’s nothing more you could do with these guys. I don’t think the most creative mind could. They have been there forever. They have run their course.”

Sheamus also recently showed off his battle wounds after a series of WWE live events. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what will become of The Brawling Brutes in the end.

What’s your view on what Vince Russo said? Do you feel The Brawling Brutes deserve better? Let us know in the comments!
