WWE Hall of Famer Edge has seen the pro wrestling industry change in many ways throughout his career. Being such a big name, it is no surprise that many people take his opinion seriously. That said, it appears Edge might celebrate his 25th anniversary in WWE on RAW or NXT.
As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Grayson Waller held another segment of ‘his talk show ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ and his special guest was none other than WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
The segment eventually led to a match between the two, where Edge stated it was a sink-or-swim situation for Waller. Edge defeated Waller in a solid match and then told Waller that he swam – putting him over in the process.
While speaking on SmackDown LowDown, Edge was asked about making it 25 years in WWE. The Rated R Superstar stated that this has always been his dream job and added that he might celebrate his 25th anniversary in WWE on RAW or NXT.
“It’s a celebration. This is my dream job. I wasn’t meant to do anything else in this world. This is what I was supposed to do, and I’m one of the lucky few that has found what he was supposed to do, and then did it. Not only did it, but [points to himself on a poster at Madison Square Garden]. For me, this is insane. 25 years here, to last that long, if you had told me at the beginning of all this that would be the case, that I’d be celebrating in Madison Square Garden, that next month I’d go to Toronto. Hell, I could go to Monday Night Raw and celebrate. I could go to NXT and celebrate. I could come back here to SmackDown and celebrate. All I know is this month, I’m going to have one hell of a time.”
We will have to wait and see whether the WW Hall of Famer will end up celebrating his 25th anniversary on RAW or NXT, as he already competed on Smackdown this week. Regardless, it will be a huge moment when the celebration takes place.
