Roman Reigns has been booked as an absolute monster since his return back in 2020 and fans believed his reign of terror would never end. That said, Reigns is no longer the invincible beast that he once was after Money In The Bank. Now it appears he tried to intimidate the crowd after Smackdown went off the air this week.
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa squared off against The Usos in a terrific tag team match, which featured a ton of drama and insane action. In the end, Jey Uso did the unthinkable and pinned Roman Reigns – which was Reigns’ first pinfall loss since 2019.
This led to the trial of Roman Reigns for this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table this week, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to a match at SummerSlam.
As revealed by footage after Friday Night Smackdown went off the air, Jey Uso could be seen staring down Roman Reigns while the latter stood on the entrance ramp. Reigns then headed backstage with Paul Heyman but was interrupted by fans who booed him near the entranceway. Reigns stopped and tried to intimidate the fans but felt it was better to just leave.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Roman Reigns and Jey Uso’s feud in the coming weeks, as the company has major plans for both of them at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
