Hikaru Shida was one of the top stars in the women’s division in AEW and is one of the most talented female pro wrestlers in the world right now. She was the AEW Women’s Champion for well over a year after beating Nyla Rose for the title at Double or Nothing 2020. She is now in the record books after her win on AEW Rampage this week.

Hikaru Shida lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Britt Baker at Double Or Nothing 2021. After that, she went back to Japan for a while and then came back to AEW television.

The Japanese star squared off against Marina Shafir in a singles match during the 100th episode of AEW Rampage this week. After a hard-fought match, it was Shida who came out as the victor.

This was Hikaru Shida’s sixth consecutive singles victory. In addition to that, as pointed out AEWMetrics, Hikaru Shida officially became the woman to earn the 1000th win in the history of AEW’s women’s division.
