WWE’s Likely Direction For Rhea Ripley At SummerSlam

WWE has a lot of options on the table when it comes to SummerSlam. They already have six reported matches locked down for the card at Detroit’s Ford Field on August 5th, and it appears that Rhea Ripley will also have a big match.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke down the events on WWE RAW this week. During that recapping, he made an observation that Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez could have a match in their future.

WWE has booked a couple of segments at this point where they had confrontations, but things didn’t get physical. The match is certainly teased, and that is the direction that it appears WWE is going with this.

It looked like they’re going to do Rhea vs Raquel. Could be SummerSlam, but that’s what it looked like.

Of course, Raquel Rodriguez’s status as 1/2 of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Liv Morgan is a very interesting thing to consider. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville are the new #1 contenders after winning a tag team gauntlet match this week on RAW.

Only time will tell how WWE books their SummerSlam card. The biggest party of the summer is always filled with exciting events, and it could also mark a huge night for Rhea Ripley or Raquel Rodriguez as well.
