Drew McIntyre returned to WWE at the 2023 Money in the Bank event in London’s O2 Arena. That was a big moment as he stepped up against GUNTHER, but those huge moments in WWE might not last forever for the Scottish Warrior.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted once again that Drew McIntyre’s deal with WWE is up in early 2024. He has not inked a new deal yet, so he is working with a ticking clock in WWE right now.

That being said, due to the time that Drew McIntyre missed, WWE might extend his contract. If they wanted, WWE might even get another WrestleMania performance out of McIntyre, even if he doesn’t ink a new deal.

We will have to see what WWE does with Drew McIntyre. He will wrestle in a tag team match next week on RAW, and that will be the beginning of his new story.

Drew McIntyre might have options if he doesn’t wish to re-sign with WWE. At this time, he hasn’t locked himself down with the company, but that won’t stop them from booking him.
