Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and wasted no time in becoming a major name in the company. Four years since his debut, Moxley has been on a roll in the world of professional wrestling. Moxley loves violence in every shape and form and it appears he got skewered in a brutal spot during a recent NJPW match.

The Purveyor of Violence has been on a tear for the past few years, both in AEW as well as in NJPW. Moxley revels in violence, whether he inflicts it or is the receipt of such violence.

During the NJPW Strong Independence show, Jon Moxley partnered up with Homicide against Jun Kasai and El Desperado in an Exciting Encounter Doomsday No DQ match. Unsurprisingly, it was a very violent affair from start to finish.

One of the most brutal spots saw Jun Kasai stabbing a bunch of chopsticks in Jon Moxley’s lead, as he started bleeding profusely. The team of El Desperado & Jun Kasai defeated Moxley and Homicide in the end.

Due to his appearance in Japan, Jon Moxley won’t be present on AEW Dynamite this week. With a Blood and Guts match set to take place very soon, we’ll have to see how AEW will book The Elite vs The Blackpool Combat Club’s feud till then.

What’s your opinion on this violent display? Do you think Jon Moxley should tone it down with the violence? Sound off in the comments!
