RVD is regarded as one of the all-time greats as far as in-ring action and death-defying stunts are concerned. RVD has competed all over the world and gained a lot of respect from fans and peers alike. He also has a high opinion of Vince McMahon and it appears RVD finally disclosed his relationship with McMahon.

Vince McMahon is the Executive Chairman of WWE and is undoubtedly one of the most controversial names in the history of pro wrestling. Therefore, it is not surprising quite a few people hold a grudge against him.

While speaking during the latest edition of his “One Of A Kind” podcast with co-host Dominc DeAngelo, RVD talked about his relationship with Vince McMahon and how it gradually progressed.

“I always got along with Vince. I don’t remember when we first started talking after I was hired there in 2001. I just remember he was always respectful and cool to me.

“I remember going to him when I was frustrated about politics and he was very open. That might have been maybe the first time that I actually bonded with him. [I] went in there and just unloaded about everything, about a lot of stuff that I haven’t even talked about yet in a public format. He was really cool and open to that discussion. He was like, ‘Rob, I appreciate you’re frustrated.’ He was always open to ideas.”

RVD believes there will never be another Vince McMahon. RVD also had an interesting response to having one final pro wrestling run. It remains to be seen when RVD will finally return to the squared circle.
