Kevin Nash has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the professional wrestling industry, having witnessed numerous changes and evolutions throughout his career. He has competed for several years and has played a role in many iconic moments. That being said, Nash regrets not facing off against CM Punk.

The WWE Hall Of Famer made a name for himself as Diesel in WWE, where he eventually became the World Champion. He then saw great success as part of the nWo in WCW.

The original plans for WWE Night of Champions in 2011 would have seen CM Punk facing Kevin Nash. However, Kevin Nash failed a physical examination, thus scrapping the match entirely.

While talking about the scrapped plans on Kliq This, Kevin Nash admitted that missing out on squaring off against CM Punk remains one of his true regrets.

“I never got that match with Punk, I wish I had that.“You know what, though? I’ve been blessed, man. I went out for 8 or 9 years of my life and was across a Hall of Famer almost every night, so I don’t have too many [regrets].

CM Punk is unlikely to ever return to WWE and Kevin Nash is no longer an active in-ring competitor, so a match between them will never happen. This is something fans have simply accepted now.
