Jade Cargill has established herself as a dominant force in the promotion, showcasing impressive in-ring skills and a commanding presence. Her rapid rise has culminated in her being crowned TBS Women’s Champion and made her a star. That said, it appears she denied the claim that AEW made her famous.
Jade Cargill was immediately presented as a huge star upon her debut in AEW back in 2020. Eventually, she would go on to have a very impressive undefeated streak that caught the attention of many.
Her dominance was especially apparent after winning the TBS Women’s Championship. That said, she ended up dropping the title to Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing and has been absent ever since.
A fan took to Twitter and stated that AEW made Jade Cargill famous. Cargill saw the fan’s tweet and denied the claim that AEW made her famous, adding that she had fans before AEW.
No they did not. YOU know me because of AEW. A lot of my fans knew me prior. But go on. Thus the reason I stuck with my name rather than a stage name.
Jade Cargill also hinted at staying away from pro wrestling. As previously reported, Jade Cargill is expected to take some time off and return with a character shift. We will have to wait and see whether Jade Cargill will return to AEW in the future.
