Jeff Hardy is universally beloved, being a proper veteran in the pro wrestling world. However, his personal demons have cost him a great deal. After a lot of personal setbacks, Hardy returned to AEW earlier this year and recently got injured. Now it appears the nature of his injury has been revealed.

After 10 months away from AEW television, Jeff Hardy finally returned back in April. Hardy wasted no time in becoming a mainstay of the company after his return and fans were just happy to see him back.

Jeff Hardy was written off AEW television last month at the hands of Juice Robinson. It happened shortly after The Hardy Boyz lost a match to Austin & Colten Gunn on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.

While speaking on the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy talked about Jeff Hardy’s injury. Matt Hardy revealed that the roll of quarters ended up dislocating Jeff Hardy’s jaw.

“The roll of coins, it dislocated his jaw. They thought it might have been broken, but it was dislocated, so it’s only looking like a couple of weeks. So, yeah. It is what it is. It’s pro wrestling. It’s not ballet, as they say.”

We will have to see what’s next for Jeff Hardy once he returns to AEW television. After all, fans just want to see The Charismatic Enigma succeed in a major way once again.
