Drew McIntyre was last seen at WrestleMania in an IC Title match against GUNTHER and Sheamus. Then the Celtic Warrior took a bit of a break. Now, that wait for his return is over.

Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract status is up in the air. There is a report that he hadn’t signed a new deal yet, and that added to speculation. All of that was laid to rest in London’s O2 Arena.

GUNTHER beat Matt Riddle at Money in the Bank to retain his WWE IC Title. Then Drew McIntyre’s music hit, and the London crowd blew the roof off the famous arena.

Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring and confronted GUNTHER. After laying down a headbutt and a Claymore kick, GUNTHER was on the canvas as McIntyre celebrated.
