Alicia Fox Says Going To Rehab Changed Her Whole Life

Alicia Fox had an impressive run in WWE, but that time came to a sudden end. She was allowed to wrestle at a WWE live event while she was intoxicated, and that also led to Arn Anderson’s firing from the company. Now, years later, Alicia Fox can open up about this as Victoria Crawford.

Alicia Fox recently shared her personal journey and expressed gratitude towards WWE for their support during a difficult time in her life. During a Twitch stream, Crawford openly discussed an incident that occurred at a house show in 2019, which eventually led her to seek help and enter rehab.

The former WWE Diva expressed her appreciation to the company for financing her path to sobriety, acknowledging the company’s role in assisting her during her struggle with alcohol-related issues. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support she received from WWE and the people involved in her rehabilitation process.

By sharing her story on her Twitch stream, Alicia Fox hopes to raise awareness about the challenges she faced and the importance of addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. She encourages others to seek support and emphasizes the significance of having a strong support system during challenging times.

“It actually changed my whole life. This is what got me into rehab, which I’m forever grateful. Forever grateful that company had that support.

“I guess the rumor mill is everyone was saying I looked drunk, I look like I’m bumping crazy. I have no idea. I’m in the match, guys. I don’t know.

“I was kinda rushed and stressed about changing the match… I don’t know what’s going on. Here’s where the mic drops. I don’t really know how to put this. But this is true.

“By the time I got out of my match and I’m being taken out by the medical team… and they give me a field sobriety test in the training room and it’s like no Arn, no producer, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are like popping their heads in there, they’re like asking me what day it is, what city we’re in… I felt like such a failure.”

“I still haven’t even been able to talk to him about this. And that was a bridge built water deep, I don’t know. And I went to the locker room, I packed up my stuff, and the girls came in acting all like they didn’t know what was going on.”

While thinking back on the incident that triggered her decision to seek help, Crawford recalled being told she appeared intoxicated during a house show. As a result, the match she was scheduled to compete in was changed, causing her stress and anxiety over the situation.

We will have to see if Alicia Fox ever makes a return to WWE for any reason. She was recently booked for a match with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. Only time will tell if that opens up more opportunities in her future.
