Xavier Woods is a member of The New Day and so far, he has had a remarkable career in WWE. Woods has won tag team titles quite a few times and remains a highlight, both inside and outside the squared circle. He also has aspirations after pro wrestling by the looks of it.
Xavier Woods has seen a ton of success as a tag team specialist, but his singles run remains barren. In fact, many fans still think Woods had a better singles run in TNA, where he had solid matches against the likes of AJ Styles and more.
While speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Xavier Woods talked about his retirement plans after his career as a professional wrestler is over. Woods revealed that he will be transitioning into G4 as well as being a studio bassist.
“Definitely G4 is the job that I’m going to be transitioning into once I’m done. I’m also learning bass as well. I have aspirations to be a studio basis. So for all you artists in the next five or seven years, hopefully by the time you guys are big, I understand how to play bass and you hit through Atlanta, I’ll play the bass for your album.”
We will have to wait and see whether Xavier Woods will eventually make his dream come true and become a singles champion somewhere down the line before retirement. After all, fans believe he is long overdue for a singles title run.
