WWE has undergone numerous changes since Triple H took over as head of WWE Creative. This includes WWE partnering up with other media and the like. Now it appears that WWE Superstars still need permission for outside projects.
Superstars usually make media appearances and even appear on television and radio shows to promote upcoming events or products. This includes the upcoming WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event as well.
Most recently, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch recently appeared on the TODAY Show and ESPN’s First Take to hype the upcoming Premium Live Event. Several WWE Superstars have previously appeared on various media outlets to promote events.
According to a report behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE is much more relaxed regarding its talent appearing in podcasts and outside projects. However, it needs to be pitched to the higher-ups and get permission from them before they can appear in outside projects.
WWE will continue to expand its business and become an even bigger juggernaut than it already is. We’ll have to wait and see whether the media visits will end up helping the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event.
