Roman Reigns’ family members are used to appearing in headlines. That being said, this is not an instance of good press, and the Head of the Table might want to keep his name out of this one.

Jacob Fatu, the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, has been accused of failing to appear at a charity event and not refunding the payment. He is also in the Anoa’i Family as well.

NBC 26 recently featured a news story on this situation, which can be viewed in the YouTube video accompanying this article. Something came up, and Jacob Fatu cancelled the event, but that didn’t mean he gave the money back.

The charity involved in this incident is Jake’s Network of Hope. Jen Harper, the director of development at Jake’s, provided comments regarding the matter.

“Jacob called and said there was a family emergency. We gave him the benefit of the doubt – at Jake’s we are 100% about family, and I said, ‘If you can’t make it, that’s fine’.”

They pre-paid Jacob Fatu $1,030, and they also dropped $548 on his hotel and accommodations. They are hoping to get that money back.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. Obviously, it’s never good to steal someone’s money, especially when a charity is involved. As of this writing, Jacob Fatu has not publicly commented on this story.

Jacob Fatu would be a big name to bring into your event, but should WWE be interested in him too? Sound off in the comments!
