AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy has reached a significant milestone in his reign as champion. Cassidy, who won the title in October of last year, has now held the championship for an impressive stretch of time.

Originally known as the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, Cassidy captured the title from Pac during an episode of AEW Dynamite. Pac had previously won the inaugural championship at the Forbidden Door crossover event between AEW and New Japan in June 2022. In March 2023, the title was renamed the AEW International Championship.

Cassidy’s reign as champion has been marked by remarkable success. He recently achieved a milestone of 25 consecutive singles wins and successful title defenses. Since winning the gold, Cassidy has faced a variety of challengers, including Swerve Strickland, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Big Bill, and Daniel Garcia. Notably, Cassidy defended his title in a 21-person battle royale at AEW Double or Nothing 2023 and also successfully defended against Gabriel Kidd at New Japan’s Collision in Philadelphia.

In his most recent title defense at Forbidden Door, Cassidy retained the championship against formidable opponents Daniel Garcia, Katsuyori Shibata, and Zack Sabre Jr. The Freshly Squeezed One has firmly established himself as a dominant force in the AEW International Championship scene and continues to showcase his skills as a deserving titleholder.
