The Street Profits are still trying hard to regain their footage in the WWE tag team division, and they are certainly inspired to do great things. Angelo Dawkins also wants to pay homage to one of the most beloved matches outside a WWE ring in the company’s history.

Angelo Dawkins has expressed his desire to pay homage to his all-time favorite match by engaging in a grocery store brawl. That is quite an accomplishment if he can pull it off.

Booker T and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin were involved in a few great angles throughout their careers, their memorable 2001 fight in a grocery store etched itself into wrestling history. To this day, it is still a fan favorite.

During an appearance on the Highly Dishfunctional podcast, Angelo Dawkins disclosed that participating in his own grocery store brawl is a dream he aspires to fulfill. He enthusiastically expressed his desire to strike someone with a jug of milk, highlighting it as a specific moment he hopes to recreate in his own wrestling career.

“Booker T vs. Stone Cold in a grocery store. That will forever be my favorite thing ever. I’m trying my hardest. If there’s one thing on the bucket list that I’m trying to do, I’m trying to fight in a grocery store. I’m trying to throw hands in a grocery store. I’m trying to smack somebody with a jug of milk. Smack somebody in the face with an onion and make them cry.”

Booker T and Steve Austin’s grocery store match is still regarded as a fan favorite. It also could be considered one of WWE’s earliest cinematic matches. Only time will tell if Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford will be able to recreate that magic.

The Street Profits are still together, but you never know what is in the future. Perhaps, the former Tag Team Champions might have a similar match like that in their own future against each other.

Steve Austin was involved in a lot of historic matches, which one is your favorite? Sound off in the comments!
