Drew McIntyre was injured on the road to WrestleMania 39, but he continued on despite an injury. After competing in a triple threat match at WrestleMania, he had to take some time off. Now, fans are waiting for his return.

WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, and it appears that Drew McIntyre’s name is in the rumor mill big time. That being said, it doesn’t mean WWE has a plan in place for his immediate return.

PW Insider Elite noted that WWE has not been speaking about Drew McIntyre’s return to the company. This is in spite of the fact that rumors of his return are running everywhere.

In regard to a potential Drew McIntyre return, while WWE creative had been looking into him returning as soon as this weekend’s Money in the Bank event, we are told that nothing has been set in stone for any sort of direction for McIntyre on the Raw brand.  It’s not a lock that it will go down this weekend and as of today, there wasn’t any buzz internally about McIntyre being included in the London PPV.

We’ll have to see if Drew McIntyre makes a return at Money in the Bank. He has a lot to offer the main roster, and it’s not impossible to think that McIntyre could make a big impact on things once he returns.

Fans will have to see what WWE has in store for Drew McIntyre. He might just make his return at London’s O2 Arena, but there are a lot of options during the event.
