WWE has announced that Jackie Redmond will be stepping into an expanded role with the company, commencing from July 1st.
Redmond will serve as a backstage interviewer for Monday Night RAW, alongside Byron Saxton. She will also co-host WWE’s premium live event kickoff shows with Kayla Braxton, alongside Booker T and Peter Rosenberg. Redmond will continue to contribute to studio work throughout the year.
With over a decade of sports broadcasting experience, Redmond has previously worked as a host and reporter for NHL Network, WBD Sports, and Rogers Sportsnet in Canada. She joined WWE in 2021 as the co-host of Raw Talk and Talking Smack. Despite her increased responsibilities with WWE, Redmond will continue to work for NHL Network and WBD Sports during the hockey season.
Meanwhile, Megan Morant is set to take on an expanded full-time role at WWE’s Stamford studios. She will serve as the host for Raw Talk, SmackDown LowDown, international shows for television, and various digital shows, including the Monday Night Raw sidecast on Twitch.
Furthermore, Cathy Kelley will be making a move to Friday Night SmackDown, where she will join Kayla Braxton as a backstage interviewer.
These changes highlight WWE’s ongoing efforts to enhance their broadcasting team and provide a better experience for fans during their programming.
