LA Knight is very confident, and his charisma alone has brought him a new wave of popularity in WWE. Now, it appears that the former Max Dupri has another big challenge up his sleeve.
In an unexpected twist, LA Knight has issued a playful challenge to the English Monarch, King Charles III, for a match at the upcoming Money in the Bank event in London on July 1st. It’s highly doubtful that King Charles will take Knight up on this, but it’s worth noting.
During an interview with The Daily Star, LA Knight humorously shifted his focus from the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match to the Royal Family, teasingly calling out the “old and beaten down” King of England.
“I gotta go to the top man and run for King Charles. I know he’s old and beaten down and you know busted up, but I’ve got to take the crown.”
The 74-year-old King Charles III will likely not accept LA Knight’s challenge. That being said, the WWE Superstar has undeniably been gaining momentum as he prepares to compete at the 02 Arena.
LA Knight’s popularity has reached new heights, with his electrifying presence often eliciting the loudest responses from WWE’s audience. WWE might have some big things in the pipeline for him, and that’s a fact. This surge in popularity has positioned Knight as one of the front-runners to climb the ladder and secure the coveted title opportunity.
However, the addition of Logan Paul to the mix in the Money in the Bank match has added a layer of unpredictability. Paul joins Knight, Butch, Santos Escobar, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, and Damian Priest in the final lineup for the match.
