Chris Hero is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, who became a major star by competing in the independent circuit as well as bigger pro wrestling promotions. While his in-ring career might be over, it appears Hero has confirmed his new role in AEW.

Chris Hero was a big name in ROH as he was part of The Kings of Wrestling tag team with Claudio Castagnoli, where they even won the ROH Tag Team Titles on two different occasions.

He also had two stints in WWE before getting released by the company in April 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. Chris Hero was also part of AEW Collision’s debut, where he produced quite a few matches for the show.

The AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event took place last night and it was truly a memorable event from start to finish. Chris Hero took to Twitter and confirmed that he did coaching at the event.
