WWE has a lot of plans for the future, and they are doing the most they can to draw attention to their developmental brand. It appears that Carmelo Hayes could see his first match on RAW very soon.
Carmelo Hayes is still going strong as NXT Champion, but a main roster call-up has happened for current champions before. That being said, Hayes makes a point to never miss.
BWE tweeted out behind his private Twitter account that WWE is discussing the main roster debut of Carmelo Hayes. At this time, it appears that they are discussing a match with a big main roster talent on RAW.

Carmelo Hayes has a ton of potential, and he is set to defend his NXT Title at Gold Rush this week against Baron Corbin. Only time will tell how that turns out, but it seems that Carmelo’s time on the WWE main roster might come sooner than later.
