Saraya Sidelined Due To Undisclosed Injury

AEW’s roster is filled with talent with a wide range of experience. Saraya’s impact and influence in the pro wrestling business can’t be denied, but she hasn’t been seen in AEW recently. There is a reason for her absence, but that wait for her return won’t be long.

Saraya has a ton of fans all around the world, and it appears that she is far from finished in the ring. Alongside Ruby Soho and Toni Storm, Saraya is having a great time with the Outcasts. They spray paint their victims, and they’re drawing a ton of heat with Toni Storm as AEW Women’s World Champion.

Saraya hasn’t been seen on AEW television in a while, but it was noted behind Fightful’s paywall that she would be back with AEW imminently. She was sidelined due to injuries, but they were not disclosed.

Fightful Select has learned that Saraya was backstage at the June 21 AEW Dynamite tapings in Chicago, and will likely be returning to programming soon. We’re told that she was briefly sidelined for undisclosed reasons, but that they weren’t serious and isn’t a long-term injury or anything of that nature.

It was also noted that, “Saraya has already wrestled seven matches since returning to AEW in-ring action last November, averaging about one a month. This equals the seven she had upon her 2017 return to the ring before her unfortunate injury.”

We will have to see what AEW’s plan is for Saraya. If anything, she will draw a lot of attention to herself along the way.
