LA Knight made a huge splash after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. While his main roster call-up was initially marred by a dead-on-arrival gimmick, he was eventually allowed to revert back to what he does best and fans were relieved. Now it appears Knight recalled the time Paul Bearer mooned the camera during a promo.
LA Knight was known as Eli Drake in Impact Wrestling, where he became a massive star thanks to his excellent promo skills and in-ring work. All of this led to WWE eventually signing him a couple of years ago.
During his time in the independent circuit, LA Knight also worked with Paul Bearer and honed his craft in a big way. Paul Bearer managed many legends during his career and he also had a brief stint managing LA Knight.
While speaking with the Daily Mail, LA Knight opened up about his relationship with Paul Bearer. LA Knight recalled the time Paul Bearer mooned the camera during a promo.
“One of the guys was doing a pre-taped promo before the show started that day, and at some point he just pulled his whole big fat ass out and broke the take. He was behind the camera, and just mooned the guy. The whole place just broke down! He was such a nice guy – unless you got on his bad side, then he would ride your ass hard. Whenever I would call him or message him or whatever for advice, he was always very, very, very appreciative about it.”
Some also believe that LA Knight’s commentary skills have held him back in WWE. John Cena also recently showed love to LA Knight. We will have to wait and see whether LA Knight will end up winning the Money In The Bank ladder match, as fans feel he deserves it.
