Erick Redbeard, the former Erick Rowan, was let go by WWE back in 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. He went back to the indies afterwards and has appeared in various promotions including AEW since then. Now it appears Rowan recently teased the Wyatt Family’s return in WWE.
Erick Redbeard has made a few appearances on AEW television. The first time was during the Brodie Lee tribute show back in December 2020. After that, he appeared back in March of last year.
During his time wrestling alongside Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Brodie Lee, they were collectively known as The Wyatt family. Together, they ran roughshod over WWE and terrified their opponents.
Eric Rowan recently took to Twitter and uploaded a black and white photo of his iconic sheep mask, which he used to wear during his time as part of the Wyatt family. It is evident he teased returning to WWE for a Wyatt family return.
Erick Redbeard also hinted at returning to WWE in the past. With Braun Strowman out of action for a year and Bray Wyatt absent for a few months, we’ll have to see whether Rowan and Wyatt end up returning together.
