Eddie Kingston is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, as he has competed all over the world in various companies. Kingston is a major star in AEW right now and it appears some believe he should never win a title in the company.

Eddie Kingston left AEW and made his way to Ring Of Honor, where he became an active in-ring competitor. Following hernia surgery, Kingston made his way back to AEW again.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston revealed Tomohiro Ishii as the fifth man that will team with him, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page against Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, and Wheeler Yuta as well as Konosuke Takashita and Shota Umino this Sunday at the Forbidden Door event.

He also had a very personal promo battle with Jon Moxley prior to the announcement. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray gave massive props to Eddie Kingston and stated that he should never win a title in AEW and just continue to be involved in personal stories.

”There is something that Eddie does very, very different in his promos. Eddie speaks to the fanbase the same way he’d be speaking to his boys on the street, and I loved it. Eddie Kingston should never wear a championship. I wanna see Eddie involved in personal stories just like he is right now.”

We will have to wait and see how Eddie Kingston’s match will turn out at AEW Forbidden Door this Sunday. By the looks of it, perhaps Kingston and Jon Moxley will renew their own rivalry eventually.

What’s your view on what Bully Ray said? Do you think Eddie Kingston should never win a title in AEW? Sound off in the comments!
