Seth Rollins is the Visionary of WWE and has done a lot for the business since his debut in the company more than a decade ago. He is a sure-shot WWE Hall Of Famer and continues to make strides anywhere he goes. Rollins takes pride in calling himself a fighting champion, but it appears he was ripped for this reason.

Seth Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after beating AJ Styles at Night Of Champions. After his win, Seth Rollins has constantly tried to be the best champion possible and elevate the prestige of the title.

The Visionary has been holding open challenges to show that he will be a fighting champion no matter what. This has been the case for the past few weeks and this week as well. After all, Rollins successfully defended his title against Bron Breakker on NXT.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo questioned Seth Rollins’ claim of being a fighting champion. Russo would then go on to rip Rollins for calling himself a fighting champion, as Russo believes Rollins hasn’t done anything to earn such a moniker.

“Since before the show ended, he made it clear that he’s gonna wrestle on NXT. Then why didn’t he wrestle on RAW? There was still time left on the show, why aren’t you having your open challenge? So what, I’m gonna rest up and heal up tonight but I’ll have the match tomorrow. Then you’re gonna go there and say I am a fighting champion. No, you’re not.

You’re gonna go home with your Hulk Hogan wrestling buddy and you gonna sleep on it. Your wife is going to tuck you in, maybe sing you a lullaby or two because you ain’t wrestling tonight. So if you ain’t wrestling tonight, now we gotta stop with the I’m gonna defend this title 24/7 ’cause you’re not.

Seth Rollins will be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Champion against Finn Balor at the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. We will have to wait and see whether Rollins will be able to end up retaining the title.

What’s your view on what Vince Russo said? Do you actually agree with him? Let us know in the comments!
