Sofia Cromwell debuted as a member of WWE’s new talent initiative, working in the NXT brand before being promoted to the main roster. Cromwell debuted on SmackDown in July 2022 as Maxxine Dupri, Max Dupri’s storyline sister. While Max Dupri is back to being LA Knight, Maxxine Durpri is still a mainstay of Monday Night RAW. That said, it appears Total Divas played a major role in her WWE career.
She used to be the manager of Mån.sôör and Ma.çé, as well as the Director of Talent for Maximum Male Models. That all changed after she aligned with the Alpha Academy and since then, she has been a highlight of WWE television.
While speaking on After The Bell with Corey Graves, Maxxine Dupri revealed just how significant Total Divas was to her WWE career. It ultimately convinced her that she wanted to be a part of Vince McMahon’s company.
“I loved ‘Total Divas,’ I was obsessed with ‘Total Divas.’ My grandpa is a huge fan,” Dupri said. “He used to take my dad to WWE shows. He watches every week, so I’m officially the favorite grandchild, which is pretty exciting. My boyfriend is a huge WWE fan, so through COVID, that was really all that was on in our house. If he was playing a video game it was always WWE 2K and I’m like, ‘Wait, this is Total Divas! Let’s bring it back.'”
Maxxine Dupri has yet to actually compete inside the squared circle, despite the fact that she is ready for it. She has been performing arm drags and suplexes on WWE television, so it’s just a matter of time before Dupri ends up competing inside the squared circle.
