The Acclaimed were once the top-selling merchandise act in AEW, but they lost that top spot. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are still loved by fans, and Daddy Ass is along for the scissoring along the way. It seemed that they had a tough time in Chicago for Rampage. Now, we have an update on what really went down.

A fan who was in Chicago for AEW Dynamite and Rampage this week chimed in as a comment to Ringside News’ Twitter post about the Acclaimed incident. It seems that the heat wasn’t on The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass at all.

The fan did confirm that there was about ten-minutes of booing from the Chicago fans. That will probably get cut down drastically for television, but the heat went down, and they let Billy Gunn talk when he grabbed the microphone.

I was there, yes the segment got 10min of booing, but none of it was directed at the acclaimed, it was all for Harley. The second daddy ass took the mic everyone let him talk. The second harley took it back it was deafening boos.

The Acclaimed might not be champions in AEW anymore, nor are they on top of AEW’s merchandise charts, but they are still getting television time. Hopefully, AEW is able to trim the boos down in their segment this week, and it will be interesting to see how they edit that.
