WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry has accomplished a lot in his pro wrestling career which has spanned decades. He has been part of a number of solid feuds and a brilliant run as the World Heavyweight Champion. He is called The World’s Strongest Man and he has the proof to back it up. That said, it appears he shot down a claim that John Cena is stronger than him.

Mark Henry competed in powerlifting and strongman before becoming a professional wrestler with WWE. For those who do not know, Mark Henry represented the United States at the Olympic Games in 1992 and 1996. He also set world records in the deadlift and squat.

Paul Wight once claimed that John Cena is the strongest wrestler he has ever been in the ring with. While speaking on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, Mark Henry shot down that claim, making it clear that he doesn’t believe John Cena is stronger than him.

“And I gave him the business about it too. How are you gonna say John Cena is stronger than me? Because he’s, he’s, he’s more over than me? But if it came to strength for strength, like there’s nobody else on the planet that compares to the things that I’ve done.”

In case you didn’t know, Mark Henry also won the inaugural Arnold Strongman Classic in 2002. Regardless, there is no disputing the fact that Mark Henry is definitely stronger than John Cena.
