AEW has a lot of people on their roster that draws attention, and a few of them broke the internet when they made their debut. Bryan Danielson jumping to AEW was a big deal, but he’s been working a part-time schedule as of late.

Bryan Danielson gives his all every time he’s in the ring, but his body has been through a lot. Now, it appears that he is working through a few physical problems.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Bryan Danielson has worked a limited schedule this year for a reason. The former WWE Champion has been working while banged up.

Fightful Select has learned that Bryan Danielson has been “banged up” of late, and there were some spots limited in his AEW Double or Nothing 2023 Anarchy in the Arena match as a result. Prior to that match, Danielson hadn’t worked since the 60 Minute Iron Match main event for the world title at AEW Revolution in March.

It was also noted that, “Danielson has instead worked commentary for Blackpool Combat Club matches, while largely avoiding contact in the many brawls that have happened during that time. Danielson has also been heavily involved in creative in the first several weeks of AEW Collision.”

Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada are set to throw down at AEW & NJPW’s Forbidden Door event on June 25th. That show should be a big one, and their match will probably main event the entire event.
