LA Knight made a major impact after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. The initial stages of his main roster run made fans fear the worst for his future in the company. Thankfully, LA Knight was able to get back to his old gimmick and is now insanely over with fans. That said, it appears that WWE has been criticized for the baffling way they have booked LA Knight.

The former NXT Superstar is often considered one of the best on the microphone and he has shown fans many times why he deserves the acclaim. LA Knight continues to win over fans with his skills every week.

LA Knight has tried to keep himself relevant despite all the mediocre angles being presented to him. It is very evident that LA Knight is one of the most over WWE Superstars right now as he gets incredibly loud reactions every week.

While speaking on Wrestling with Freddie, former writer Freddie Prinze Jr. talked about how WWE has been booking LA Knight. The former WWE writer made it clear LA Knight’s booking simply baffled him. He also believed that Knight’s Commentary skills might be holding him back in WWE.

“I don’t get it. When you get yourself over, the entire creative team should be rushing to you as soon as your promo is over and saying, ‘Let’s talk and figure out a story.’ For whatever reason, they just refuse to give him a legit story and he’s getting bigger pops than 95% of the roster whether he’s supposed to be the good guy or the bad guy. The crowd loves him. I don’t get why he’s not in a significant story.

I’ll say this, it’s the one criticism I could say. When he did commentary, it wasn’t the best. His promos were superior to his commentary when he was the guest commentator. But it’s like I’m looking and picking something where I can go like maybe Vince saw the commentary and he’s like, no he can’t do that.”

John Cena also recently showed love to LA Knight. We will have to wait and see whether LA Knight will end up winning the Money In The Bank ladder match, as fans feel he deserves it.

What do you think of this story? Do you think Knight will eventually get a proper push? Let us know in the comments!
