Alicia Fox was one of the veterans of the WWE women’s division during the Divas era in the company. She reached the top of the mountain by winning the Divas Championship, becoming the first African-American woman to win the title. She parted ways with WWE earlier this year and began her journey to making an in-ring return. Now it appears she wants to be Kevin Dunn Jr. after retirement.
Alicia Fox’s final advertised match for the company was on April 22, 2019. Eventually, fans noticed how Alicia Fox no longer had WWE on her Instagram bio, believing she exited the company. Fox herself then confirmed she parted ways with WWE earlier this year.
As previously reported, Alicia Fox recently claimed that she is ‘unretired’ from pro wrestling following her WWE departure.
While speaking on the Ryback Show, Alicia revealed that she still wants to work in the wrestling industry after retirement and aspires to be Kevin Dunn Jr.
“I always had this interest in being in the TV truck. I almost wanted to be like little Kevin Dunn Jr. I think it’d fun to do producing, like producing and directing, the meat and potatoes of the TV aspect. I think sometimes, what’s portrayed on TV, I would just try to do my best I could to be of contribution to a company that wants to help the girls know an appropriate standard, with the gear and certain moves, where their legs are [facing] hard cam, close your legs, little things that don’t have to, and that’s with any talent.”
Alicia Fox is set to make her return to the squared circle next month. We will have to wait and see how she will fare in her in-ring return next month, as fans are certainly excited for her comeback.
