AEW Video Game Called Out For Copying Cody Rhodes’ Promo From WWE RAW

AEW Fight Forever doesn’t drop until June 29th, but some copies are already out there. Since fans are getting their games, screenshots are coming out, and there is a lot to unpack.

We previously reported that Brock Lesnar received a mention in the new AEW game. Roman Reigns also has an Easter Egg. Of course, Cody Rhodes is in the new AEW Fight Forever game, and that gave a very interesting opportunity.

A screenshot is making the rounds of Cody Rhodes in the storyline mode in the new AEW Fight Forever game. He is cutting a promo about the scorpion and the frog, and that is a very familiar thing. The caption for that post said it all.

Didn’t Cody tell this exact fable a month ago on Raw?

One fan tweeted out to say, “bro this game is so inside baseball and meta it’s hilarious. Cody said that promo on RAW a few weeks ago. Lol is this shit for real or is the simulation cookin today” Obviously, this Easter Egg was noticed by a lot of fans.

We will have to see how AEW Fight Forever pans out when the game goes out for all gamers. Pro wrestling fans are very hard to please, but it seems that the new Fight Forever game is hitting some high marks, especially those that take shots at the competition.
