AEW Preparing Heel Turn For Jungle Boy

AEW has decided to go in a few directions that drew heat from fans. After years of booking Luke Perry’s son as a babyface, it appears that AEW might be prepared to pull the trigger on Jungle Boy’s heel turn.

Jungle Boy is set to get big title shot at Forbidden Door. The former Jurassic Express member will get an IWGP World Title shot against Sanada. That could come with a new direction for Jack Perry.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW is preparing Jungle Boy for a heel turn. It wasn’t noted when they plan on making that heel turn happen, but the writing is already on the wall.

Jungle Boy might be showing signs of the dark side, but it’s apparently on purpose. Only time will tell how that new edge for Jungle Boy does against Sanada at Forbidden Door on June 25th.
