Tony Khan has very deep pockets, and so does his father, Shad Khan. They already own the Jacksonville Jaguars, Fulham soccer team, AEW, and ROH. Now, it appears that they are looking into getting into a different business with Bellator.

Shad and Tony Khan seem to be expanding their ventures into the realm of MMA. Bellator might just be game to do business as well.

The CEO of Bellator MMA, Scott Coker, recently announced that the organization is up for sale, sparking discussions with the Professional Fighters League. Naturally, a few buyers are going to be on the table.

During The MMA Hour, Ariel Helwani revealed today that he has received information about several interested parties eyeing the acquisition.

“I know that PFL was one of those players that looked into them.” Helwani said that PFL backed out, but they are back in the mix as a potential buyer. He also said that Liberty Media and the Khan family have “looked into them.” He added, “To what degree is unclear. When I’m talking about the Khan family, I’m talking about Shad Khan and his son Tony Khan.”

This is very interesting, because WWE and UFC are now under one merged company under Endeavor. The TKO Holdings Group will be a thing, and Tony Khan might want in on that action.

We will have to see how this situation pans out. Anything can happen in business, and it appears that there are some very interesting buyers on the table for Bellator.
