AEW brought the first episode of Collision last week, and they are sticking around Chicago this week for Dynamite. Now, it seems that we might see The Elite and CM Punk appear on the same show once again.

According to PW Insider, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are expected to make pre-taped appearances on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The decision to have them appear in pre-taped segments is considered a wise move, given that the show is taking place in Chicago, Illinois, following CM Punk’s return to AEW during the premiere episode of AEW Collision this past Saturday.

There has been reported animosity between The Elite and CM Punk ever since Punk dragged them during a media scrum following the All Out pay-per-view last September. That led to a backstage altercation, and as a result, all four wrestlers have non-disclosure agreements in place.

CM Punk’s return to AEW last weekend marked his first appearance since the All Out pay-per-view in the previous year. During his comeback promo, the two-time AEW World Champion made a reference to The Young Bucks, stating, “You know what David Zasloff calls me? ‘One Bill Phil.’ That’s because I’m the one true genuine article in a business full of counterfeit bucks.” That caused the Young Bucks to reply via their Twitter bio.

In the main event of AEW Collision, CM Punk teamed up with FTR against Samoa Joe and Bullet Club Gold. In the end, CM Punk and FTR won the match.

The Elite’s last on-screen appearance went down on last week’s episode of Dynamite, where The Young Bucks and “Hangman” Adam Page faced a defeat against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club. In the post-match chaos, Kenny Omega was ambushed by Will Ospreay.

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay are set to collide for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event this upcoming weekend. Their match is expected to main event the whole show.

The Elite doesn’t want to have anything to do with CM Punk right now. That is the reason why Tony Khan put them on different shows. Now, we will have to see how things pan out from this point on.
