Sonya Deville made her comeback to WWE television back in January 2020 in a non-wrestling role. Fast forward two years, Deville is now an active in-ring competitor, but that’s not the only thing she does now. Now it appears that Deville made it clear that she takes pride in not needing a title to be relevant in WWE.
Sonya Deville has managed to stay relevant in WWE after signing with the company in 2015, as she has been involved in some solid storylines over the years. That said, fans wonder if she will win a title in WWE.
Daddy Deville is rarely able to win matches lately but still gets title shots more often than not. This has become an issue for fans who want her to succeed in the company, but that doesn’t seem like a big deal to her.
While speaking with Maria Menounos, Sonya Deville talked about not winning any title in WWE yet. Instead, she made it clear that she takes pride in not needing a title to be relevant in WWE.
As much as I want a championship, and that’s something that I will do before I am done here, I take pride in the fact that I stay booked and busy and relevant and trending without a championship, which I think there’s something to say about that, too.
Sonya Deville is currently part of a tag team with Chelsea Green on Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Daddy Deville in the coming weeks.
