Ex WWE Superstar Returns During AEW Rampage

AEW brought a big episode of Dynamite for fans in Chicago as they rounded the corner into the home stretch before Forbidden Door. It seems that they had a big surprise planned for fans as well.

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn won their trios match on AEW Rampage this week. Then Johnny Elite returned to AEW and joined QTV crew to attack them.

This is not the former John Morrison’s first appearance for AEW. He appeared as Johnny Elite several months ago, and AEW fans popped big at first, thinking it was Johnny Gargano debuting at the time. Seeing the Wednesday Night Delight was still a great surprise.

We will have to see if Johnny Elite sticks around AEW this time around. He is married to Taya Valkyrie, who is also enjoying a new run with the company. Only time will tell what’s next.
