AEW is going through a few changes, and CM Punk’s return is only the start of things. With a new Collision television show, there is a lot of shifting going on. This led to a report that there are issues backstage in the company, but that’s not the case.

We previously reported that there is a lot of divisiveness backstage in AEW. Dave Meltzer reportedly said, “One thing on the show tonight [Dynamite]. You know, one of the one people… one of the top guys was told that we would not have to deal with Punk except for on pay-per-view. And it’s like, but here he is, week one. It’s not like it’s a surprise or anything. It’s just, you know, these ideas change or what people are told change. People are kind of like, this is the company, it’s a new company. That’s all there is.”

Andrade saw this report about discontentment backstage in AEW. He had to chime in to let fans know that he called BS on the idea.

It seems that heat in the AEW locker room might not be as serious as that previous report led on. If anything, it certainly gives fans an indication that they can’t believe everything they hear.

We will have to see if there are any indications that issues remain in AEW’s locker room. As for Andrade El Idolo, it seems that he doesn’t see any problems. Then again, he’s also been gone for months.

What’s your take on Andrade squashing this report? Sound off in the comments!
